The train, road, and other systems are in need of major improvements. According to the American Society of Civil Engineers, the U.S. needs to invest more than $4.5 trillion by 2025 just to bring our nation's infrastructure up to "adequate" standards.
Passing the infrastructure bill could require initiatives like hiking the gas tax.
