*By Tracey Cheek* Fitness guru and former "Biggest Loser" trainer Jillian Michaels has spent years perfecting her clients' exteriors, but now she's dedicating herself to interiors. "There are so many misconceptions ー the idea is that aging or beauty is fought from the outside. And the reality is that it isn't the case," she told Cheddar Tuesday. Michaels has just written a new book to disseminate her wisdom: "The 6 Keys: Unlock Your Genetic Potential For Ageless Strength, Health, and Beauty." The first step? Reversing the stigma. “It is an anti-aging book and that has become a politically incorrect term, but it shouldn't be,” Michaels said. “You should want to age well, you should want to look great and feel great inside and out for decades to come," she added. "And that's what the book is about ー looking and feeling your best at 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and so on.” In the book, Michaels offers several tips to lead a healthy life ー which include intermittent fasting, purchasing house plants, and incorporating meditation into one's daily routine. “Something as simple as five minutes a day ー before bed, in the morning when you wake up, in the car on your lunch hour, wherever it might be ー that five minutes of chill makes a big difference,” Michaels said. “Even if you're like, 'I can't clear my mind,' it gets better with time.
