Edmund Bartlett, Jamaica's Minister of Tourism, discusses the country's tourism strategy and what's next for the island nation. The number of tourists visiting Jamaica has grown every year since 2002. Bartlett explains Jamaica is the most connected destination in the Caribbean, with travelers coming to visit from almost everywhere. Jamaica would like to increase the number of tourists it welcomes from Asia. Bartlett says Jamaica is embracing experiential elements for tourists such as food, art, entertainment, and more. Bartlett notes there hasn't been one case of the Zika virus in Jamaica in the past two years.
