Joseph Lubin, the co-founder of Ethereum and CEO of Consensys, sat down with Cheddar senior reporter Alex Heath to discuss the rise of cryptocurrency. Lubin weighs in on why crypto's sudden correction last year benefits the space in the long term. Lubin discusses the beginnings of the Ethereum Project he helped create and his new company Consensys's role in developing for blockchain technology. Lubin also talks about the meteoric rise of Ethereum and bitcoin in the last year and the inevitable correction he feels it had to undergo. He believes the drop was necessary for the continued success of decentralized currencies.
