SpaceX is one step closer to getting humans to Mars. CEO Elon Musk unveiled photos of the newly-assembled Falcon Heavy Rocket in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Astronomer Phil Plait explains what the Falcon Heavy Rocket means for the modern space race. Elon Musk plans to use the 27-engine rocket to get people to Mars by 2022. According to SpaceX, the Falcon Heavy will be able to carry over 30,000 pounds of cargo to Mars. SpaceX isn't the only player in the space industry that is making big progress this week. Blue Origin successfully launched a seventh New Shepard rocket. Plait says Jeff Bezos's company has even bigger rockets in the pipeline.
