In a dozen cases investigated by the Inspector General, high level officials were let off the hook without receiving a serious enough punishment. Some officials even received work-related awards and acknowledgements while being accused of sexual harassment. The sexual harassment issues at the DOJ are just a few of many that have come to light this year. Allegations against film mogul Harvey Weinstein set off a chain reaction through many industries and sparked the viral #MeToo movement.
