President Trump left most of America wondering what he'll say next after an impromptu interview with the New York Times. Wegmann says that the one thing he found most fascinating was that Trump said the special counsel investigation was actually good for him. He wants to use it as a rallying moment for his base ahead of 2018. The one thing Trump fears is Democratic control over Congress. Plus, Jeff Session's future in the White House and the role of Alan Dershowitz within the Russian investigation. Wegmann says Trump has made stars of freshmen congressmen and some political news outlets. He suggests even stronger reporting on the White House in 2018.
