The company has attracted celebrity investors like Gwyneth Paltrow and Serena Williams, with this latest round led by Cheddar investor Lightspeed Venture Partners. Drori talks the inspiration behind the company and why its unprocessed, direct-to-consumer product stands out from others on the market. The company touts that all products are plant-based and made with whole, unrefined, organic ingredients. The frozen format means a long shelflife and ability to utilize "ugly" fruits and vegetables, reducing waste throughout the supply chain.
