One of the internet's favorite moms is giving people the chance to cook up some of her most special family meals. Pepper Teigen, the mother of model Chrissy Teigen, released her debut tome of recipes The Pepper Thai Cookbook, on Tuesday and said writing it was a long, yet satisfying journey.

"I cook everything from my head and to put it down in writing is pretty hard, but I'm glad I got some help from my co-writer. Of course, Chrissy and [son-in-law John Legend] helped me. We've been doing [this for] the past year, maybe a little more than the past year. But it's finally done, and I'm so happy," Teigen told Cheddar.

Chrissy, who has her own set of cookbooks, offered her expertise and helped her mom with the rollout process of her publishing debut.

Mama Teigen isn't just scoring assists in the kitchen from Chrissy and John; Luna and Miles, her two grandchildren, served as some of her most crucial judges when it came to the quality of her food.

But, according to her, every meal is a hit.

"I don't want to brag but everything that I make for them, they're loving it," she said. "I've never seen them turn down anything."

Since her grandchildren joined the family, it's been comforting to be able to cook with and for them, and she often uses the time to share family memories, Teigen said. She also explained that the pandemic offered her the opportunity to spend more time with her family and to prepare even more meals for them.

"Children have school at home, but we're loving it. We cook, we have so much [more] time together than ever before. Like before, Chrissy and John, they were traveling and all that, but now I'm so happy actually, we're together," she added.
