After a big holiday meal, what's better than some chocolate and champagne? Chocolatier Jacques Torres and Sommelier Victoria James share a few of their favorite pairings inspired by the holiday season. Torres and James walk through three different pairings featuring Jacques Torres Chocolates and Taittinger Champagne. Torres's truffles feature different kinds of champagne including rosé, which James has paired with a similar bottle. James, who is also the author of "Drink Pink," shares why rosé is such an interesting type of wine. People believe it's new because it's trendy. What they don't realize, however, is that rosé is the oldest kind of wine in existence.

On The Scene at Artesano Peruvian Cuisine Restaurant
Peruvian cuisine has been on the rise globally with some of Lima's restaurants named as some of the top eateries in the world. Cheddar News was on the scene at Artesano in downtown Manhattan where Chef Cesar Taboada displayed some of Peru's finest and most famous dishes, including ceviche, causa and lomo saltado. Taboada also explained the Asian influence on Peruvian cuisine that has helped the Andean country expand its offerings to hundreds of typical dishes on its menu.
