LitWorld founder Pam Allyn discusses World Read Aloud Day and the importance of reading every single day to promote literacy. World Read Aloud Day is partnering with Harry Potter Book Night this year. Allyn explains World Read Aloud Day, or W.R.A.D., provides books to teach the less fortunate around the world. W.R.A.D. is all-inclusive and is celebrated in 100 countries. W.R.A.D. this year coincides with the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book being released.
