Is "buy and hold" the best investment strategy for the year ahead? John Gagliardi, Regional Brokerage Consultant at Fidelity, joined us to give us a historical perspective of the classic investment strategy. Gagliardi points out that it was a great year to "do nothing". He reviewed market performance over the past 7 years and expressed the benefits of investing in an index fund and holding it. The big question is how much longer the bull market can run. Gagliardi says this market is moving faster than previous bull runs. He gives us a few indicators that may suggest a market correction.

American businesses that rely on Chinese goods are reacting with muted relief after the U.S. and China agreed to pause their exorbitant tariffs on each other’s products for 90 days. Many companies delayed or canceled orders after President Donald Trump last month put a 145% tariff on items made in China.
