Greg Zeman, associate editor of Cannabis Now, discusses the ongoing fight between California's Bureau of Cannabis Control and marijuana dispensary directory WeedMaps. WeedMaps has ignored multiple cease-and-desist letters from the CBC asking the company to stop advertising unlicensed dispensaries. Zeman says WeedMaps doesn't seem to be backing down from this fight, because it could potentially cut 70-90% of ad revenue for the company. Zeman notes the irony of this, since WeedMaps poured more than a million dollars into getting Proposition 64 passed, which legalized recreational marijuana in California.
