The "Pitch Perfect" franchise has already grossed more than $400 million at the box office since the first film came out in 2012. Actresses Chrissie Fit and Shelley Regner sit down with Alyssa Julya Smith in Los Angeles to talk about the female empowerment in the series, and how they feel about saying goodbye to the Barden Bellas. In the latest installment, the Bellas are having quarter-life crises, and come together to perform one last time for the USO. Fit and Regner discuss what it's like to be on set with empowering and supportive women. The stars also discuss how important it was to have the final two films directed by women. Trish Sie helmed the latest film, and Elizabeth Banks directed the second film. Fit, who is a Latina actress, also discusses how important it is to be aware of the stereotypes. She tells us how she asked to change a lot of the jokes for the final film, considering the current political sentiments on immigration. Although this is officially the final film, both actresses say they are open to starring in more. "Pitch Perfect 3" will hit theaters on December 22.
