The book seeks to put today's social issues into perspective, by juxtaposing them with those of the past.
The book aims to show just how far the journey for justice has come, but even more so what still needs to be done.

United Airlines and the union representing its pilots said Saturday they reached agreement on a contract that will raise pilot pay by up to 40% over four years.
