Singer Aaron Carter sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith in Los Angeles to talk about releasing his first album in 15 years, and why now is the right time to do it.

Aaron also discusses his tumultuous 2017, and some of the responses from the LGBT community after coming out as bisexual in August. Aaron says he is excited to move forward, and steer the dialogue away from his personal life and back to his music.
His latest single, "Don’t Say Goodbye," was released in December to coincide with his 30th birthday. The artist says he is flattered by the great reception his music has had, especially when it comes to streaming services, like Spotify and iTunes.
