Miller notes his surprise with Corker deciding to vote for the bill, given how bothered he was originally by the $1.4 trillion it would add to the deficit. We discuss how unfavorable the bill is polling with the American people. Miller adds that much of that is because he does not think the media is doing a good job of being honest about the bill. In addition to that, 45% of Americans don't actually pay taxes. Millers talks the overall good the bill will do for the economy and business-owners.

After a two-week delay of 5G deployment at airports due to the airline industry's claims it will cause "catastrophic disruption," AT&T and Verizon are set to roll out the service on January 19. Student loan collection company Navient agreed to cancel $1.7 billion in debt and paid more than $140 million in other penalties to settle a lawsuit over abusive lending practices. Josh Shapiro, the attorney general of Pennsylvania who led negotiations in the settlement, joined Cheddar to go over the details of the company's predatory lending. "What Navient would do is charge [borrowers] these exorbitantly high rates, even though they knew people couldn't pay them or they would likely default on them," he explained.
