For International Women's Day, Cheddar News sat down with Christine Chang, the co-founder of skincare brand Glow Recipe. Stepping out to start your own company is not a light decision, but she said prospective entrepreneurs will "have an aha moment" when the time is right. She suggested those thinking about starting a business should test out their ideas on social media and connect with others to make sure that there is interest.
Even if business ownership isn't on a person's to-do list, Chang offered this piece of advice to workers looking to make a career change: let your qualifications shine.
"Don't automatically think you're underqualified for the position you want," she said.
