BlindLove: Dating App That Doesn't Show Your Matches Photo Until After You Start Chatting
Federico Volinsky was frustrated that dating apps focused on pictures and superficial connections. He felt there needed to be an app that prioritized the keys to a loving relationship: similar interests and connections. That is why he co-founded BlindLove.
BlindLove is the newest dating app on the market that hides a users photo until the matches engage in conversation for an extended period of time. Federico Volinsky and Rembrandt Flores argue that BlindLove is a "love," app, not a dating app. The pair wants users to find meaningful relationships, not just another hookup.
Volinsky and Flores join Cheddar to debut the new app. The pair say initial users have given strong, positve feedback.
