AT&T's DIRECTV created a new window for emerging filmmakers to have a voice. Patel shared how she created the DIRECTV CINEMA Exclusive Premieres program, securing the acquisition of over 65 films that premiered exclusively on DIRECTV. Patel’s goal was to help films whose budget that are less than $10 million, and add value to their customer experience by bringing them something new that they can’t get anywhere else.
The Federal Reserve on Wednesday evening said its long-awaited digital payment system, the FedNow Service, will start operating in July. The service is designed to provide a national platform for financial institutions to settle payments in real-time and at lower cost. That could include large banks, payment processors, and the U.S. Treasury.
