Avatar's Historic Run

It's also the sixth highest-grossing film in history with more than $2 billion taken in. The last movie to lead at the box office for six consecutive weeks was the original Avatar, which was released in 2009. Titanic remains undefeated with 15 straight weeks at top spot, and all three films were directed by James Cameron.
