The movie, based on the popular table-top game, was projected to debut with $30 to $40 million in its opening weekend.Internationally, the film made $33 million for a global total of $71.5 million. Variety cited positive reviews and enthusiastic word-of-mouth as the reason for the strong box office returns. The movie has a 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
