Starbucks To Being Discussions With Workers United

In order to discuss union organizing and bargaining agreements, Starbucks will begin negotiations with Workers United. The coffee company said in a statement, "we have agreed with Workers United that we will begin discussions on a foundational framework designed to achieve collective bargaining agreements, including a fair process for organizing, and the resolution of some outstanding litigation". Workers at Starbucks went on strike in November, protesting the lack of a contract after nearly two years of organizing. Until now, Starbucks has fought aggressively against the union drive.
