Emma Kenney sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith in Los Angeles during a special chedHer broadcast to talk about her rise to fame and the pressures that go with it. The 18-year-old who has been on the hit Showtime series "Shameless" for eight seasons discusses who she looks up to as a rising star in the industry. She mentions co-star Emmy Rossum as one of those women. Kenney also talks about the added pressures for women in front of the camera and how she has seen that played out in the course of her own career, including scrutiny about how she looks and how she behaves.
