Elizabeth Rutledge has spent over 25 years at American Express and just last week the powerhouse was named Chief Marketing Officer of American Express. Rutledge joins Cheddar to explain how she will add to the C Suite and why she is excited about the role.
Rutledge explains that she has been able to succeed in her roles due to internal "sponsorship" at American Express. She is proud of the network of women that support one another in the company.
Rutledge also speaks to being a working mom. She said she tries her best to be good at both jobs every day, but some days she is better at one role than the other.
