*By Jacqueline Corba* Cheba Hut wants to be the go-to sandwich shop for stoner foodies and has opened locations next door to weed dispensaries in states where recreational marijuana is legal. "The green wave is good, it's real, and it's coming across the nation and we're going to ride that," Cheba Hut's owner Scott Jennings said Tuesday during Cheddar's CannaBiz. The fast-casual chain will soon celebrate its [one-year anniversary in Las Vegas](https://vegas.eater.com/2018/7/20/17591186/cheba-hut-southwest-fall), where it opened an outpost next to a dispensary and named a sandwich "Dark Sinatra," after the Vegas strip's music icon, Frank Sinatra. Jennings said Cheba Hut will open two new Las Vegas locations this fall. "Things are going nuts out there in Vegas," he said. "You don't have to be high to come into Cheba Hut, but if you are, all the better." Cheba Hut sells toasted subs, homemade munchies, and cures for "[cotton mouth"](https://hightimes.com/guides/cotton-mouth/), including Kool-Aid and local beer. It's a growing business ー Cheba Hut has experienced 15 percent year-over-year growth ー and aims to expand as more states legalize pot. There are 21 locations in seven states, and Jennings said he plans to add four by the end of the year. He hopes to have 50 locations by 2020. "We consider ourselves a quick service restaurant with a full service attitude," Jennings said. For more on this story, [click here](https://cheddar.com/videos/cheba-hut-wants-to-cure-the-munchies).
