Bob Chapek is speaking out for the first time since being fired as CEO of Disney in November 2022. Chapek said he doesn't see any reason Disney owned ESPN should add minority partners. Last July, Disney CEO Bob Igor hinted he might sell a minority stake in ESPN as it plans a new direct to consumer offering due to launch in Fall 2025.
