An unopened box of NHL trading cards, found in Saskatchewan, was sold at auction. The person who won the bid remains anonymous, but won the freshly unsealed box of roughly 11,000 player cards. But why did it bring in so much cash? Well the box apparently includes roughly two dozen Wayne Gretzky rookie cards from his early days on the ice.
In order to discuss union organizing and bargaining agreements, Starbucks will begin negotiations with Workers United.
The coffee company said in a statement, "we have agreed with Workers United that we will begin discussions on a foundational framework designed to achieve collective bargaining agreements, including a fair process for organizing, and the resolution of some outstanding litigation".
Workers at Starbucks went on strike in November, protesting the lack of a contract after nearly two years of organizing.
Until now, Starbucks has fought aggressively against the union drive.
