*By Max Godnick* The richest man in modern history better watch his back. WWE superstar "The Miz" challenged Amazon's Jeff Bezos to a fight in the ring during an interview with Cheddar on Wednesday ー and it's all his wife's fault. "I want to fight Bezos because my wife buys so \[many\] boxes from Amazon each and every day," The Miz said of fellow WWE star Maryse. "My recycling bin is out the roof, I have three different recycling bins all filled with Amazon boxes." Fortunately, Bezos is willing to pay for protection. According to an [SEC filing](http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml%3Fc%3D97664%26p%3Dirol-sec#14948560), Amazon spent $1.6 million on its CEO's security detail in 2016, accounting for almost all of Bezos's $1.68 million salary for the year. Maryse ardently defended the e-commerce giant, explaining it's a lot easier to use her Prime account than ask her husband to run errands. So, if The Miz ever does come to blows with the CEO, valued at $151 billion, Maryse may not be in his corner. "I will be on the side of your opponent, because I absolutely love Amazon," Maryse said. "If it wasn't for them, I don't think I could survive." Bezos isn't the only major figure The Miz has challenged this week . He [called out](https://www.pinstripealley.com/2018/7/16/17578698/yankees-mlb-all-star-game-2018-aaron-judge-wwe-the-miz-home-run-derby) New York Yankees All-Star Aaron Judge on the red carpet at the MLB's All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. That same night, The Miz won MVP of the event, so his smack talk will likely continue. For the full segment, [click here.](https://cheddar.com/videos/the-miz-and-maryse-challenge-jeff-bezos)
