Stephanie Laing, director of "Irreplaceable You," discusses what attracted her to the film and what working with Netflix was like. The movie tells the story of a terminally ill woman searching for a new soulmate for her fiancé.

Laing is known for comedy, producing hit HBO shows like "Veep" and "Vice Principals" and says the only way to get through a traumatic event is to laugh. Laing says Netflix bought the film halfway through production, and it was a great partner.
