Teslarati's Tom Cross Sets the Scene for Falcon Heavy Launch
Space X's Falcon Heavy launched into space Tuesday afternoon. Teslarati's launch photographer Tom Cross set the scene from the launch site.
Cross described a lot of confidence on the ground before the successful launch took place Tuesday. Cross said the experience photographing this historic launch was "very surreal."
"It's a rush, that's why I do this," said Cross. "I have a lot of confidence in Space X because they've been able to do a lot of impossible things."
A Minnesota utility began shutting down a nuclear power plant near Minneapolis on Friday after discovering water containing a low level of radioactive material was leaking from a pipe for the second time. While the utility and health officials say it is not dangerous, the issue has prompted concerns among nearby residents and raised questions about aging pipelines.
