With this technology, SpaceX hopes to provide high speed, low-cost energy across the globe. There was a lot of excitement surrounding SpaceX's attempt to land its payload fairing, but it missed by a few hundred meters. Weitering was disappointed that she was unable to see the boosters land. SpaceX's ultimate goal is to create resuable rockets.
