Carter sits down with Alyssa Julya Smith to discuss the underlying creative that goes into making costumes for the upcoming "Black Panther," including the futuristic look of the setting of the film.
She talks about how she came up with the costumes and got a lot of her inspiration from Africa and ancient African traditions to create unique and compelling looks for the superheroes. Carter talks about the beadwork and metal work that went into the costumes.
Carter refused to share which character she had the most fun dressing as she says they were all interesting and fun to dress for many different reasons.
