His latest project, "The Volunteers," takes viewers to the front lines of the fight against ISIS in Northern Syria. The three-hour series follows a cameraman's efforts to save lives, providing medical treatment, care, and training to the victims of the deadly crisis. Schroder tells us why he's so passionate about the material, and gives his take on whether Hollywood is telling soldiers' stories effectively.
