From confirmation that Jamie Foxx is getting better to Beetlejuice thieves, here's what's happening in entertainment.

Jamie Foxx Update

At last, an update from Jamie Foxx himself.

The actor, comedian and musician took to Instagram to update fans on his status after a health scare had him hospitalized in April.

"I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through. I know a lot of people were waiting to hear the updates but to be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that," he said.

Foxx's daughter Corinne broke the news of his hospitalization and sporadically provided updates on the status of health. At one point she said he was on the mend and was playing pickleball. Unfortunately, the rumor mill still swirled about his health and whether or not he was actually back on his feet.

Foxx's return to the spotlight comes just as his most recent project They Cloned Tyrone premiered on Netflix. Not only has the film received glowing reviews so far, it's also sparked another far-fetched theory about his return and whether or not he is actually a clone

Beetlejuice Theft

Thieves have apparently set their eyes on the set of the upcoming sequel Beetlejuice 2 and are getting away with some pretty iconic memorabilia.

Police in Vermont are investigating the theft of a lamppost and a sculpture that were lifted from the movie set. They received a report about a pumpkin lamp post hoisted onto the back of a pickup truck and covered with a tarp. Days later another report was filed about a 150-pound statue that had been taken from a nearby cemetery.

Both of the stolen pieces made appearances in the original 1988 film, so it is possible the perps are looking for a nice cash flip for a piece of Hollywood history. The new sequel is set to hit theaters sometime in 2024.

Drake Album Done

Drake is ready to shut down the music industry once again.

#TheBoy is currently on his It's All A Blur tour alongside rapper 21 Savage. During his set at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, he told the crowd that he is on the verge of releasing another body of work titled For All the Dogs. He didn't give an exact release date but did mention that it will drop in a couple of weeks.

Until now, talk surrounding the project has been radio silent, except for the confirmed collaboration with former label-mate Nicki Minaj, which he revealed during a Detroit stop. The project would be his third album in just over a year's time, after dropping Honestly, Nevermind and Her Loss with 21 Savage in 2022.
