Cycle for Survival Crosses $200M in the Fight to Cure Cancer
Cycle for Survival is a movement focused on beating rare cancers. Every dollar raised goes towards rare cancer research led by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. A new study shows different strategies may be effective at motivating people to donate, apart from all that “sadvertising.” The study from Nathan Chan, assistant professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Casey Wichman, assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, found that people in good moods are more likely to donate to a charitable cause.
